Herzberg’s theory

It is based on two factors:

  1. Motivators:

    • Challenging work

    • Achievement

    • Growth in the job

    • Responsibility

    • Advancement

    • Recognition

These factors motivate the people of organization.

  1. Hygiene factors:

    • Are salary ,
    • company policy and administration ,
    • quality of supervision ,
    • working conditions ,
    • interpersonal relations ,
    • status and
    • job security .
